MSI Christchurch provides unique group music and piano lessons using the internationally acclaimed International School of Music curriculum which operates as Music Schools International outside of Australia. Our philosophy is simple: what you hear you sing; what you sing you play; what you play you read; what you read you write. We offer engaging and musically stimulating classes from two years of age through to advanced level study, incorporating piano tuition from age four and following on with individual lessons upon course completion.

Our programs

Our programs incorporate a full range of musical styles where students are grouped into small classes of no more than ten students according to age and ability. Lessons include training in musical listening and awareness, rhythmic development using percussion, solo and ensemble experience, technique development, musical theory and much more. All components are covered to develop musical ability.
